What you get
The number of domains linking to you, how many are destinations we track, and the highest-authority ones that are not linking yet. Most backlink checkers stop at the first number. The useful part is the third.
Why we ask for an email
The lookup is a paid API call on our side, every time, for every domain. Asking for an address is how we keep it free to you without it being free to abuse — and the report is a private link you can come back to rather than a screen you lose.
What it will not tell you
For a site with tens of thousands of referring domains we read the highest-ranked thousand, so the directory count is a floor rather than a total — the report says so where it applies. We do not sell backlinks, and no listing on our list is bought.
